Good food! Kimchee was good too! The place is self service. So you have to get everything yourself.

There are 5 pre-fixed menu to choose from. The place is also self-service. You walk in and order from the counter. They will give you a buzz when your order is ready. Free refill kimchi from the refrigerator. There are a lot of Korean customers, so I guess the taste is somewhat authentic.

Quick and friendly service. Order at the counter near the back of the restaurant and wait in the area near the front. I had Dongaseu which was flavorful, and the portion was enough for me to have a few little nibbles later.

BornGa is under new management and has changed their format for the better. It is now a self-service restaurant that focuses mainly on Korean soups. They only have 4 things on their new menu: Dweji Gukbap (pork and rice soup), Sulungtang (ox bone soup), Sundae Gukbap (sundae and rice soup), and pork donkatsu. Though there are not any vegetarians options, this focused menu fills a niche need in the community. To order, you walk to the back of the restaurant and pay at the counter. When your food is ready, your number is called and you pick up your own food. Each dish comes with two types of kimchi and seasonings to make it spicy. There is also salt on the tables. Water and extra kimchi is all self-service as well as taking your tray back. Though the format is very different from what it was previously, the food was very good and hit the spot on a cold, autumn night. The restaurant was busy and filled with Korean locals. We are happy with this change and look forward to trying all the dishes this upcoming winter.

BornGa is an excellent Korean restaurant that serves up some delicious and homey food. My group ordered the scallion pancake appetizer, and it was so good that we had to order another one. The banchan sides were complimentary, and the spicy taste was heavenly. We then ordered two dolsot bowls and a beef stew, and they were all incredibly flavorful and hearty. We couldn't have been more satisfied with the food. However, the service could have been better. The staff seemed to be too busy to attend to our needs, especially after the food was delivered to our table. We had to wait for a long time to get their attention to refill our water glasses, and they only seemed to come over to clear the table. It would have been nice to have more attentive service. Despite the lack of attention from the staff, the food was exceptional, and we all left feeling very satisfied. If you're in the mood for some delicious Korean food, BornGa is definitely worth a visit. Just be prepared to flag down a waiter or waitress if you need anything during your meal

It's been awhile since I've been in Pa but this is a new restaurant for me. The local friends all appear familiar with it though. Went there twice in 2 days. They appear short staffed but the lady serving our table was really friendly and the service was really good. The first night we went there, we ordered the Bossam and Haemul Junggol, along with couple of other dishes. They were both good but really didn't stand out. I like a lot of oysters in the bossam radish salad but there was none. But it was still good. The next night, we received some pro tips from other people who said that we should get the Ahgu Jjim and Tongkatsu as this is what they were known for. Completely agree. Make sure you try those 2 dishes if you are in the neighborhood.
